It's safe to say の意味と使い方
「It's safe to say ～」には、
・～と言っても差し支えない
・～と言っても過言ではない
・～と言って間違いない
という意味があります。
後ろには that節が続き、「It's safe to say that ＋文章」の形になりますが、that はよく省略されます。
例えば、「It's safe to say that she is a dream girl.」という文。
意味は「彼女は理想の女性と言っても過言ではない」となります。
また、「I think it's safe to say」のように「～だと思う」を付けることにより、少し柔らかい表現になります。
It's safe to say の言い換え表現
同義語に「It's not too much to say that ～」があります。
意味は「～と言っても過言ではない」です。
が、こちらはかたい言葉なので、It's safe to say の方がよく見かけます。
そして、それとは逆の「It's too much to say ～（～は言い過ぎ）」という表現もあります。
