under the table の意味
「under the table」の意味は、
・不正に
・違法に
・内密に
・秘密裏に
・こっそりと

「under the table」には「酔いつぶれて」という意味もあります。
酔いつぶれた結果、テーブルの下で寝てしまうことが想像できます。
しかし、この意味は辞書にも載っていますが、使われる場面は限定的です。
大体、「under the table」は本当にテーブルの下か、「不正」の意味で使われていることが多いです。
