「It is a known fact」の意味と使い方
「known fact」の意味は「known（知れ渡っている） fact（事実）」。
そこから、日本語だと「周知の事実」と訳されますが、要は皆によく知られていることを表しています。
そして、「It is a known fact that + 文」の形で「～ということは周知の事実である」となります。
また、「It is a well-known fact」と「well」が入って強調される場合もあります。
